Find Your Zen

Life certainly gets crazy and it is so important to take time to take care of yourself and re-charge.  It can be as simple as drinking enough water, getting enough sleep, taking 10 minutes to meditate and recharge.  You should also set aside some time for wellness each and every day.  After all no one else is going to take care of you. 

Try to take a moment to appreciate the small things in life.  Take a walk and appreciate nature or take a yoga class with a friend.  You can also try yoga DVDs or exercise DVDs as they always fit the budget.  The great thing about yoga is that it combines meditation and a workout which ultimately saves time. 

The one thing that has helped me more than anything is The Secret.  There is a book and a movie and I recommend that you check them both out.  It helped me to see that a positive attitude is something I can choose to have and I must admit that I have very few bad days after changing my outlook.  The basic premise of it is that your thoughts can make good things or bad things materialize for you.  So if you focus all your energy on negativity then you will attract negative things to your life.  The converse is also true, so think positive and your life will be positive.  It is honestly that simple.
